Bamboo Culture Park was established in 1997 and was selected by Ministry of Economic Affairs as "creative life industry"; the products of bamboo charcoal and bamboo vinegar have won the national CAS certification; it has hosted Nantou County CAS bamboo charcoal sales promotion and compiled Taiwan CAS bamboo charcoal and Bamboo vinegar brochures; the park cultivated more than 100 kinds of precious bamboo, currently the most complete collection, for Nantou County the center of bamboo culture. The Park is the most complete, most well-managed and most sophisticated cultivation of "Bamboo Ecology Exhibition Center ", as well as a physical bamboo encyclopedia.
Visitors come to the Bamboo Culture Park, regardless of their connection with bamboo, to leave the noises of outside world and get close to secluded and profound space of swaying bamboo, creek, bridge, scattered stones, winding path and other views. Everywhere is the delicate beauty of freehand feeling, even the popularity of the golden bamboo produced from the Bamboo Culture Park, which is panda's favorite. There are also a number of products, such as bamboo charcoal popcorn, bamboo charcoal, bamboo vinegar cleaning and maintenance and other products, which are on sales in the park and the Bamboo Museum in Chiayi.
