　　　Taiwan is located in the subtropical zone and the bend of East Asia islands. The rolling mountains and bamboo forests occupy about 200,000 hectares. Taiwan boasts abundant resources, island-shaped humid climates and different altitudes and temperatures. Taiwan's bamboo forests are different from the Japanese mainland and other regions in physical and chemical diversity, and widely distributed, even in the over-alkaline chalk moon world we can see the thorn bamboo growing in clusters. Due to the rapid growth of bamboo, it takes only 3 to 4 years to absorb large amount of carbon dioxide and was selected as the best environment-friendly material in 2015.

　　　But also because of environmental awareness, planting bamboo has become a great help to the environment, and the current use of bamboo is more and more comprehensive and extensive. There are bamboo vinegar, bamboo charcoal and other scientific aspects of the use of smoked charcoal paint and other processing studies. Many building decoration and large exhibition space installations are using bamboo art space. More technology combined with the design, are creating an internationally renowned 43 chairs. However, bamboo utensils were once widely used in daily life, and they are now renowned for handicraft articles over the world. Therefore, another group of experts and scholars and young people started to think in a new field of vision: how bamboo products can once again enter the public life.

　　　Through video interview, Mr. Huang Jun-jie, who has been learning bamboo craft for nearly 40 years, talks about the observation of the bamboo industry and his vision of the bamboo industry in Taiwan. Mr. Huang Jun-xiang replaces the traditional "embroidered pier chair" with bamboo for its elegance. Bamboo mixed with design will give users more comfortable and flexible space. Tradition, innovation and systematic thinking of industrial production work together to create future bamboo industry as a blue ocean.
